Closing Shift Roblox Full Walkthrough: Keys, Code 7825 and the Elevator Escape
A full Closing Shift Roblox walkthrough: the ordered route from the B-2 safe room through all four keys, code 7825, the elevator call and the chained front-door escape.
Quick answer
One full Closing Shift escape runs in this order: talk to officer Bill and ride the outdoor elevator down to B-2, crank open SERVICE HATCH B-2, collect four keys in the restaurant above, enter code 7825 at the EXIT CONTROL keypad, press CALL, ride the elevator back up to the ground floor, and unlock the chained front doors with your last key.
- Talk to officer Bill at the front, ride the outdoor elevator from L to B-2, then hold E on the SERVICE HATCH B-2 crank until the HATCH SEALER progress hits 100%.
- Take the keys in the observed order: a shelf in the restaurant corridor, a locked storage locker, the janitor corridor and dry storage, then the freezer (KEYS 4/4).
- In-game notes reveal the code shape 7_25; the working full code entered at the EXIT CONTROL keypad in the reviewed run was 7825, which drops the cover and makes the call button live.
- Press CALL, board the elevator when it arrives, ride to the ground floor, then hold E with your last key on the padlock chaining the front doors and push the glass door out to the lot.
Closing Shift seals you in fast. Once the elevator shuts behind you and you reach the restaurant area, the HUD objective reads find 4 keys and the 4-digit code — the whole run comes down to collecting four keys, rebuilding the four-digit code, calling the elevator back and escaping the restaurant in it. This walkthrough follows that route in order, from the street to the parking lot, the way a complete phase-1 run played out.
If you are still learning the building and its mascots, the beginner guide and the map and locations overview cover the basics; this page stays on the escape route itself.
The whole run this walkthrough follows, played end to end:
The route from street to escape, stage by stage

Open the way up
Get from the safe room to the restaurant corridor
- Open the gift box so the Puppet appears with its Q&A help menu.
- Use the security terminal to switch camera feeds.
- Hold E on the SERVICE HATCH B-2 crank until HATCH SEALER reaches 100%, then take the stairs up.

Collect keys 1 and 2
KEYS 2/4
- Pick up key 1 from a shelf shortly after entering the restaurant corridor.
- Repel the rabbit when it attacks.
- Take key 2 from the locked storage locker.

Push deeper for keys 3 and 4
KEYS 4/4
- Follow the kitchen clue to the janitor corridor and dry storage for key 3.
- Unlock the freezer and collect key 4.
- Watch the objective flip to FIND THE REST OF THE CODE.
- 5
Rebuild the code
All four digits
- Read the notes for the 1st, 3rd and 4th digits so the CODE HUD shows 7_25.
- Return to the terminal room at SERVICE HATCH B-2.
- Fill in the missing digit at the EXIT CONTROL keypad; 7825 was the working code in the reviewed run.
- 6
Call the elevator back
A live call button
- Enter 7825 at the EXIT CONTROL keypad until the cover drops.
- Press CALL and wait for THE ELEVATOR IS ON ITS WAY.
- Board the elevator when it arrives.
- 7
Escape through the front
Out of the restaurant
- Ride the elevator to the ground floor.
- Hold E with your last key to unlock the padlock chaining the front doors.
- Push the glass door out to the lot, following the radio: walk straight to the front, do not stop, do not look at the stage.
From the street to the restaurant corridor
Talk to officer Bill at the front, approach the outdoor elevator and step in when the doors open. It descends from L to B-2, you exit into the security/safe room, and the doors close behind you.
The safe room sets up everything that follows. Open the gift box and the Puppet appears with a Q&A help menu, and the security terminal switches between camera feeds so you can see what is moving through the building — the camera guide goes deeper on those feeds. The way out is the SERVICE HATCH B-2 crank: hold E on it until the HATCH SEALER progress fills to 100%, and the hatch opens onto stairs leading up into the restaurant corridor. That climb is where the find 4 keys and the 4-digit code objective appears.
The four keys, in order
| Key | Where it is found | HUD |
|---|---|---|
| Key 1 | On a shelf shortly after you enter the restaurant corridor | — |
| Key 2 | In a locked storage locker, after the rabbit is repelled | — |
| Key 3 | In the janitor corridor and dry storage | KEYS 3/4 |
| Key 4 | At the freezer, which a key unlocks | KEYS 4/4 |
This is the order a reviewed phase-1 run collected them in — a working route through the building, not a claim that the keys can only be found this way.
Key 1 waits on a shelf just inside the corridor. Key 2 is the first fight: the dark rabbit animatronic attacks in that stretch, and in the reviewed run close-range shotgun blasts repelled it before the locked storage locker gave up key 2. For key 3, the kitchen holds The key to janitor closet, which leads toward the janitor corridor and dry storage where the HUD ticks over to KEYS 3/4. The freezer is the last stop: a key unlocks it, A key. 4 of 4 appears, and the objective changes to FIND THE REST OF THE CODE.
While you hunt, lean on the survival tools the same way that run did: barricade doors with chairs (the EMPLOYEES ONLY break room and the kitchen door both got one), crawl through the vents, and hide when something patrols too close. The guides for barricading doors, hiding in closets and the vents break each option down.
Once the fourth key is in, head back toward SERVICE HATCH B-2. In the reviewed run an NPC in a black hat and sunglasses approached on the way back, and the player opened fire and sprinted to the terminal room, where the EXIT CONTROL keypad waits.
The four-digit code: 7825
The code digits come from notes along the route. A floor note near the shelf key scrawls the 1st digit is 7, and the maintenance and power room past SERVICE DUCT 1 holds two more: the 4th digit is 5 and the 3rd digit is 2. Once those notes are read, the CODE HUD reads 7_25.
The second digit never got its own note in the reviewed run — the player filled it in by trying combinations at the keypad. The EXIT CONTROL keypad sits in the terminal room back at SERVICE HATCH B-2, so finish the key hunt before returning to it. Its feedback is unambiguous: 7125, 7225, 7325, 7425, 7525, 7625 and 7725 each returned THE KEYPAD BUZZES: WRONG CODE., while 7825 returned THE COVER DROPS. THE CALL BUTTON IS LIVE.
If you would rather read the digit hunt in isolation, the four-digit code guide covers it on its own, and the four keys locations guide does the same for the keys.
Call the elevator back and walk out
With 7825 accepted, press the CALL button and the panel reports THE ELEVATOR IS ON ITS WAY. Board it when it arrives and ride to the ground floor — the elevator guide covers this step on its own.
The front doors are chained from the inside with a padlock. Hold E with your last key to unlock the padlock, then push the glass door out to the lot. Listen to the radio on the way: walk straight to the front, do not stop, and do not look at the stage.
What completing the run looks like
The reviewed run ended with PHASE 1 COMPLETE and ESCAPED on screen, +839 XP and a 16:26 clear time — with the caveat that the run was using the Infinite Lives and Minigun game passes, so your own XP and time can differ. A listed badge also marks the milestone: Escape the restaurant in the elevator. The progression guide tracks the rest of the badge set, and the ending explained page covers what happens after the doors.
Staying alive while you search
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Golden Freddy and Fredbear all hunt by their own rules — the characters list and the animatronic behavior guide profile each one — but the survival basics hold across the whole route:
Tips
Play with headphones
The game is meant to be played with headphones, so you can hear the restaurant and what is moving through it.
Keep your light on Foxy
When Foxy comes near you, keep your light on its face.
Singing means stay put
If you hear singing, do not leave the room.
Layer your defenses
Hide in closets, crawl through the vents and barricade doors with chairs. The animatronics kick barricaded doors in, so a barricade slows them down rather than stopping them.
The traps have names too, and the screen text tells you what got you. Pulling a barricade open can trigger a Birthday Bear jump scare — the reviewed run showed SEIZED across the screen when it happened — and a Vintage Freddy jump scare showed CAUGHT. Play continued after the player respawned; that run carried extra lives and a minigun pass, which is worth remembering when comparing it to a pass-free attempt. And because the animatronics listen, what you say on voice chat can matter as much as where you hide: say the right thing and they may let you go — the voice chat guide covers that system in full.
The light rule for Foxy has its own page in the Foxy guide, and the survival guide covers why you stay put when the singing starts.
